Julie obtained her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Prior to this she obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
She is a San Diego Brain Injury Foundation Board Member and a Clinical Advisory and Programs committees of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Pacific South Coast Chapter. The MS Society awarded Julie as Health Care Provider Volunteer of the Year in 2007.
Susan Gemmill Faltico, MSPT received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia. Subsequently, she practiced physical therapy in diverse settings including pediatrics, home health, inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation for eight years.
Since obtaining her highly specialized Neuro-IFRAH certification to treat stroke and brain injury, Susan focuses her time at Ability on treating patients with neurological and balance deficits.
Guadie Bertino, MPT, OCS, CSCS is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist with over seven years of experience in the field of orthopedics. She is Credentialed in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She specializes in treatment of mechanical disorders and dysfunctions of the spine and extremities, post-operative conditions, work and sports related injuries, and sport specific training.
Her training in McKenzie therapy is supported by research to provide superior results in the treatment of spine and extremity injuries. She offers a highly specialized treatment program complete with exercise, manual therapy and patient education.
Sandy Sabonjian, SLP has worked in the field of Speech-Language Pathology since 1995 in multiple settings including a skilled nursing facility as Director of Rehab, Assisted Living Facilities, In-Home Care, Hospice, Home Health, school settings, and private practice.
She has worked with individuals who have Alzheimers, Dementia, and Stroke specializing in cognition, aphasia, and dysphagia. She headed a preschool screening program that identified children with developmental delays. She has taught individuals having deafness, blindness, cerebral palsy, autism, and the gifted since 1973.
Deborah Ross, SLP received her M.A. of Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kansas. She received her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of California Santa Barbara.
Deb provides the latest advances in speech services including VitalStim Therapy for swallowing disorders and Lee Silverman Voice Therapy for neurological speech disorders. She also has various specialist certifications addressing pediatric communication disorders and pediatric swallowing therapy.
