Physical Therapy Questions and Answers

Q: How do I get started?
A: We will need a physician prescription and insurance authorization to begin our sessions. Private pay patients may schedule immediately.
Q: How much do therapy sessions cost privately?
A: Since costs are subject to changes from time to time, we like to discuss that with you on an individual basis.
Q: What medical insurance do you accept?
A: We accept Medicare, PPOs, and select HMO insurances. We also accept fee for service. Please call for details.
Q: Who is appropriate for therapy?
A: Anyone with a recent injury, decline in their function, or new goals with an old injury should consider treatment with us. Caregivers or loved ones can initiate a referral if they note changes in an individual's mobility, balance, or safety.
Q: Do you help patients determine what equipment they need?
A: Yes, our therapists determine each individual's needs based on their functional level. They will coordinate your care between your physician, orthotist, and medical equipment provider.
